A serving suggestion: harissa paste

Mostly this is just an opportunity to be smug about having served something nicely. I am renownedly awful at serving things artfully, which is the cause of great mirth to the Patriarch. Often I will spend a long time cooking something tasty around the challenges of baby and cat, but by the time it hits the plate it looks like Wassily Kandinsky is having you on. 

Here I tossed strips of paneer in my Bastardised Harissa Paste and baked them for fifteen minutes before serving with sweet potato mash and spinach wilted in butter. I can recommend for a deceptively quick and fancy tea. 

However, please be assured, the blog is deceptive and some meals (i.e. this morning’s breakfast) are toast and half a large bar of Romanian chocolate.
